Two Blogs, A Buy, But No Pizza Place

I recently discovered that two of my friends here in Chicago are returning to their blogs, so if you have a little time, stop by their pages and check them out.

The first is my friend Doug who goes above and beyond in his support of Season of Concern year round.

He walked in this year's AIDS Walk on our team.

He accompanied Ms. Susan Moniz on a song that he wrote for our recent Larry Sloan Awards Ceremony.

And he works with the uber-fabulous Karen Bronson on an annual cabaret benefit that brings in TONS of donation dollars for SOC.

He's great guy, a brilliant musician and a really fun blogger. Check him out at I Get That A Lot.

Next up is my friend Cynthia who seems to know every single theatre person in this city.

She is incredibly sexy, kooky, passionate and one of the most caring and giving people I have ever met.

We worked together last year on UGLY BABY. In the second act I played a Jewish mother and an Italian mother - - both of whom wore the same dress - - and Cynthia played my Italian son.

She looked very Vinnie Barbarino.

I looked very Lainie Kazan.

She definitely got the better end of that deal.

Check her out at really? Banal views on everything.

Also, after I sent out Season of Concern's big World AIDS Day eblast, I received a reply from the brilliant Eric McCool telling me that he had set up a site via CafePress entitled Wear It Daily. There are tons of items available featuring the incredible image that Eric designed and the tag line reads, "Because AIDS Doesn't Just Exist On December 1st..."

And the best part is that Eric is donating 50% of all the proceeds from Wear It Daily directly to Season of Concern! Thank you, Eric!

So, head over to Wear It Daily and check out the site.

I've got some pretty friggin' cool friends, don't I?

P.S. Does anyone even slightly get the reference I'm going for with the title of this post?

I THINK i get it.

Ummm...that was the show that launched fellow Canuck Ryan Reynolds and the super cute Richard Ruccolo. Who cares about the girl????

But is this post the flipside of that? If so, I don't get the Pizza place part.

If you have to ask....

Cynthia - I am most definitely one of them. Unfortunately, I'm not very experienced at doing you, just your hair. :)
