My Favorite Caption Contest Week #17

Well, I've been busier than a one-legged man in a butt kicking contest and on top of everything, the dsl at my home decided it no longer wanted anything to do with my laptop, so this "Thursday" post is actually being made on Saturday night. But I changed the date to Thursday so that I could give the appearance of being on time.

Wouldn't it be nice if Life had a Tool Bar with an Options Button? Not only could you Change the Date and Time, but you could also Delete or Undo.

Nah, that would be just like Superman flying so fast around the world that he reverses time and saves the life of Lois Lane. In other words, it would be an easy way of solving problems and it would suck.

All that aside, this week's winner for My Favorite Caption Contest was TOUGH! So many great entries. Like Polt's submission...

"Um, dad, did you drop this?"

Or Thomas MacEntee's entry...

"As I yanked it out I thought 'He said he was tight! Well I guess so. You can get two hands up there, but you can't still can't clap.'"

Lord knows I've met those guys - - those "wide receivers." And by "met" I mean, "Lost my laptop inside of."

But the winning caption that made me laugh over and over was submitted by Dennis over at A Twisted Thought (a kick-ass blog, by the way) who wrote...

"Listen Dear...It's going to be a long night and
it's just me and you so we've got to get along!"

I love that so much! And not just because I'm so single that I'm thinking of dating my toy collection. Yeah, I'm taking that LARS AND THE REAL GIRL thing to a whole new level.

So, in keeping with the sexual frustration so blatantly apparent in my posts of late, here is the picture of Week #17's Caption Contest...

And don't ask me where I got this picture of my ex-boyfriend topping that cute twink. I never reveal my sources.

No deadline for entries this time. I'll give it a few days and hopefully get my act together so that I'm back on track with my posts.

P.S. Nice tan on that boy. And I love the grey ankle socks. Way too much product in his hair, but who am I to judge hair care, right?

you know I got to say it:

"Oh, My precious, my precious, my precious, Ohhhhhh!"

Polt said...

Yeah, I know he's kinda ugly, and slimy, and he does say 'precious' way too much, but he's the lord of MY ring!!!

HUGS...

thomas - "W-r-r-riggling," indeed!!

just me - Perfect and exactly where my mind went! Love it!

polt - "He's the lord of MY ring!" Oh my Lord, that made me cackle!

thomas - Another that made me cackle. You submit those titles to a porn studio. You could make a fortune off of that!!

atwistedthought - I hope you're feeling better. Your caption made me laugh out loud. Literally. Not that "LOL" crap everybody types.

And trust me, my laugh is loud and long!

Strangely, I'm reminded of Notting Hill when I see this picture.

1. "They go to bed with Sméagol; they wake up with Gollum."

2. "I'm just boy, kneeling in front of a hobbit, asking it to love him."

another one:
He kept staring at me through the window of the comic book store; I just had to bring him home. He's quite a monster.

Eric - Yep. Except I stayed with Gollum for two friggin' years after I realized he was NOT Sméagol!!!

Brilliant caption, as always. You know the way to my heart - - a comic book reference. :)
