Planet Hiltron

If you've never visited Planet Hiltron... well, then you obviously haven't check out "My Favorite Visual Arts Blogs," so if that's the case, here are a few reasons why you should check for updates on Planet Hiltron every day.

It's a simple morphing of pictures of celebs with pictures of... well, us. Actually, though, this is "not so simple," since I'm sure this work is complicated but it's done so well, the perception is that it's easy. These images are hilariously skewer celebrity. This is brilliant work.

For instance, here is yesterday's post - - Paris and Nicky Hilton...

And this isn't the first time Planet Hiltron has tackled Paris Hilton. For instance, here is 40's Paris...

Planet Hiltron has also tackled sisters before, like The Olsens...

...or Tori and Candy Spelling...

And I love this one 0f Ann Coulter. Finally, a picture that shows her for the used up, trashy coke whore that she is.

But this one is the prize winner. This is really brilliant. This says it all.

The 40s Paris Hilton actually looks pretty good. So that's what she looks like with clothes on.

Lance's Friend - Yeah! Who knew? Women in the 40's knew: Don't show all your stuff - - Always leave 'em wanting more!

funny...I wonder if the Olsen's will ever get some weight on...they to me look better than the sticks they really are...

Rad Homo - I doubt those girls will ever eat a friggin' cookie. But you're right - - the way they are now, you put your arm around their waist and get a paper cut.

The Ann Coulter one actually reminds me of a woman who lived three doors down from me when I was a kid. Of course, that look was current then...

Aaron - But were those nails ever really in fashion?

No, scratch that question. I'm remembering several girls in East Tennessee who went to high school with me and loved when I would sing Journey's OPEN ARMS at talent shows. Those girls definitely had those nails!

I'll bet it just killed them when you turned out to bat for the other team--you heartbreaker!

I love me some of that, too...and I love red hair! It's one of my many "types."

Lance - You can critique Hal Prince's shows in their out-of-town tryouts, you survived working for The Mouse and you've lived on three different continents in your young life. Something tells me mastering Photoshop will take you all of 5 minutes. :)
