A Text Message from my Mom

My mother has learned how to text message.

I might have considered this a sign of the apocalypse, but there is nothing but absolute beauty in what she texted to me today.

This is the message I received from her...
"You are the wind beneath my wings.

"You keep me going.

"Love, Mom x o"

If there is anything more beautiful than that, I don't quite know what it is.

That's just lovely, baby. I'm so glad you two are close.

Aww, i LOVE your Mama! My mom hasn't quite sussed out text messaging yet, but if she did, she'd send stuff like that too.

Moms....is there anything better than moms?

HUGS....

Well, maybe if she had quoted Josh Groban instead...

So sweet! My mom used to send me messages like that...I kept all of them! :-) I even have a voice mail she left me at work one time that was laced with heavy profanity (I had left her one saying that she sounded like her sister--she had a cold).
