Heath Ledger

Alanda just emailed me this. I can't believe it.

"Heath Ledger, who was nominated for an Academy Award in 2005 for his role as a gay cowboy in "Brokeback Mountain," was found dead today in a Manhattan apartment, New York police told CNN.

"A possible drug overdose was suspected.

"Ledger was 28."

So sad. So very sad.

even i can be serious now and again...

i work right by his apartment, and the mayhem i encountered on my way home just now was insane.... either he was reallllly loved, or we are a messed up celeb-obsessed culture

I am so totally freaked out by this, he was an amazing actor and I was so looking forward to his role in the new batman. I just can't believe it he was never in the tabloid crap for being out partying, I hope they find that it was an accident or something physiological.

I was really shocked, you usually hear about things leading up to a celebrity death (party, depression, detox, etc) I really think he was just trying to sleep with aid of medication and went one too far. Either way, 28 is far too young. To answer joe to hell question, i think it was both. he was really loved, but also celeb-obsessed culture. it was like a freakin' lightning storm as people took pictures of A BODY BAG! It could have had potatoes in it for all they knew. How fast word travels.
So long Heath, we'll miss you.
