The Trib posted these pictures of the Lakeview Polar Bear Club from their annual swim in Lake Michigan at Oak Street Beach on February 17th. They call it a......and I swear I am NOT making this up...
A CELEBRATION OF SHRINKAGE!
This year, however, the "swim in Lake Michigan" part of LPBC's event didn't happen because... well... the lake was frozen.
So, the Lakeview Polar Bears improvised......and usually, I'm not a big fan of "improv," but in this case...
...well, I don't know about you, but...
...one half naked man making angels in the snow spells out "hottie" in my book!
Speaking of, this is Brian Marchal, the President of LPBC......playing football...
...half naked...
...in the snow.
Now, don't get me wrong, there ain't nothing wrong with tight football pants and jockstraps...
...nothing wrong with that AT ALL!...
...but if all football players looked and dressed like this, I would be buying me some friggin' Bears season tickets!!! Okay!!!!
And the best part is that this event, the Celebration of Shrinkage, is a fundraiser. As the LPBC site says...
"This year we will be raising money in honor and support of the Prestangen family: Sherri and Scott, and their 9-year old son, Ryan. Back in December of 2005, Sherri was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia... This family has been through some hard times and now they need friends to help pick them up. There are many fantastic charities that raise money for good causes, but I am excited that we help specific families, the Prestangen family in particular."
Last year, they raised $5,600 for another family in need.In my humble opinion, that makes this man the perfect combo...
...a hottie with a heart.
And yeah, it doesn't hurt that he looks damn fine in a Speedo.

Omigod, Stephan, when I saw this online I Googled his ass and found all the pics of him in Speedos from previous years. He's in much better hsape now. We could like, start a Brian Marchal fan club.

I went to high school with this guy in Ohio. He was a couple years older than me and I always knew he was a hottie!!! but I didn't know he had this sexy swimmer like body :) Didn't know he was in Chicago. If you find him, don't be greedy, please post for the all of us!!!
He is definitely a hottie - - and more than that, as I said in the posting, he's a "hottie with a heart" which makes him, if not the perfect man, then damn close to it.
I doubt I will stalk him - - seeing that he's straight and all - - but if I happen to run into him here in the Windy City, I'll try to snap a few pics with my camera phone... although, I seriously doubt they will be as pleasing to the eye as the ones of him playing football in the snow in a Speedo!!
let me tell you all...I went to high school AND college with this man! I was better friends with him in high school. I ALWAYS new he had a heart of gold and a FANTASTIC body (would go to school early, work out, shower, then go to class...yummy :) I never had the guts to flirt with him...but I might change my mind now that he is the perfect husband!! I could stare at that football picture all day....wow! I am so in for the fan club!! And I say we all go next year and cheer...I agree with the SNL gear....he kinda has that cute WIll Ferrell hair anyway. Holla!
