Laid Up. And Not in a Good Way

Y'all, I'm sick.

I could feel it coming on yesterday, so I spent all evening and all night laid up in bed...

...No, my ankes were not in the air. Yes, it felt odd...

...I felt worse this morning, but made it to work and now it's really hitting me, so I'm heading home.

Home to rest, home to sleep. Home to crawl into bed. I only wish I was crawling into bed with Mr. Good Morning here.

That would make the fever, the chills and the coughing a Hell of a lot more fun, wouldn't it?

Well, he could do worse than to crawl into bed with you! (Unless you pass your plague on, of course...then he will probably curse you.)

Hope you feel better really soon!

It would...until he caught the same bug. The only thing worse than a sick 'Mo is a pair of sick 'Mos.

If the sipcy Thai chicken soup doesn't work, I'll send you some Thai black rice soup. Nothing better when you are sick than soup. Hope you are feeling better soon!

If that guys doesn't make you feel better, you're truly very much ill!!!

Or hopelessly straight.

Which could be considered the same thing. :)

Get better soon!

I heard that you were feeling ill,
Headache, fever, and a chill--
Well, I am here to restore your pluck,
'cause I'm the nurse who likes to...

I now believe that most of mankind's illness is 'shared' at work. Since working from home a year ago I have not been sick even once.

Hope you're feeling better soon, Stephen.
