I know that tons of people have already posted this, but Susan Boyle's performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" is, I think, exactly what we all need right now...
Someone seeing their dream coming true right before our eyes.
Thanks to Yellowdog Granny for sending this video to me yesterday!

I just saw this yesterday and I meant to send it to you. Isn't she amazing? It is what I wish all auditions would turn out to be!
Saw this yesterday. She's good, but frankly I think the homely guy that sang opera a few years ago was much more of a shock That he gave me chills as he sang. She's impressive though.
HUGS...
Oh, and I LOVE the Venture Brothers!!! :)
"are you shooting heroin into your scrotum, Hank? You can tell me! I'm hip!" - Dr. Venture! :)
HUGS...
Every time I tried to pull it up yesterday the clip had been removed. I just saw it today. Amazing.
this made me cry! such a nice video!! love it! stealing it for my blog! xoxo
I heard about her and this amazing performance, but hadn't yet seen it. Thanks for posting it. I LOVE the look on Simon's face when he hears the voice!
i like to see homely, cat loving, never been kissed matrons rock out some pseudo opera to a crowd of 12 year olds!
AND
I like to see pompous know-it-all asses eat crow!
I've seen this four or fie times now, and it still make sme cry. Brava!
She has one heckuva voice. Just needs a wig, some make up and some work on the brows....otherwise she is GREAT
I cry almost everytime I watch this!
Michael Pacas
ohmigod, thank you for posting this. i hadn't seen the full version til now. this is beautiful, just wonderful.
i've cried twice this week -- once, at the end of grey gardens, and then while watching this. these were tears of joy, though. i can hardly wait for the movie of her life to be made, as it certainly will.
with everything else happening in the world and our lives, and with everything that can go wrong, or just not right, this is another that reminds us that hope never dies. keep dreaming, keep hope alive. and go you, susan boyle!
what an inspiration to us all! i'm so happy for her. she deserves all that life will bring her now...
