Yeah, I know. I wish I was talking about a unit of measure, too. This, however is a meme. Which is almost as fun. Not as filling, but almost as fun. (Yeah, I said it.)


What did you want to be when you 'grew up?'

I honestly could never imagine myself as an adult when I was a child. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I thought that I would die before I became a man. So much for homosexual intuition.

Still, I always imagined myself as a performer. Actor, singer - - anything on a stage entertaining people.

And if I could entertain people while sharing a stage with Leif Garrett, so much the better.


What are you now?
To quote Harvey Fierstein from Torch Song Trilogy, "I am an entertainer. Or what's left of one."


What fictional character did you identify with as a child?
Steve Austin. Definitely Steve Austin. The Six Million Dollar Man.

Partially because we shared the same name, partially because he was given those bionics to be "better, stronger, faster," but mainly because Lee Majors looked hot as Hell in that red tracksuit


How about now?
I'm going to go with The Midnighter, because not only is he gay, has a HOT husband, Apollo and wears black all the time, but he also can predict anyones' moves against him so that can almost never be beaten in a fight and he rips people's heads off. Literally.

Telling my parents that "God screwed up and put me in a little boy's body." Cause I liked girl things. I was four.

My father yelling at me to "Stop running like a girl."

The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. In all things. With all people.

I wouldn't last a day in politics.

Have her try to sing any song from Judy Garland at Carnegie Hall. Live. If she get through it without belching or hitting her crack pipe, then I'm all for her.


The first person you thought you loved?
Tony, the boy who drove a Nissan truck and worked at a Quik-E-Mart. I was 18, neither of us had our own place, so we would pool our money and get a room at the Motel 6 and stay there until I had to be back at home for my curfew. Good times.

Persons. My family and friends. All of them.

If you could be, do, have, own, or possess anything you wanted, what would it be?
Wealthy enough to travel and give my family and friends everything that they need to be happy and content in their lives.

The boy in Florida. I have a severe crush on him right now. He knows who he is. I've told him.
