Lovin' Me Some Hillary

Jackie over at THINGS according to me called it and I SO agree with her.

During the one-on-one debate last night between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, Hillary had the best line of the night.

In response to the question: "Is it right to continue the two family rule which has seen either a Bush or a Clinton occupy the White house for the past 20 years," Hillary replied...

"It did take a Clinton to clean up after the first Bush, and I think it might take another one to clean up after the second Bush."

She shoots. She scores!!!

My mother has been in the Hillary camp for more than a year. I think I may join her.

Last time, we only had four years of Bush to clean up after--this time we have eight! And it was a dumber Bush! (Although eight years of Reagan might balance out to the same thing.)

Hope she's got her mop and bucket ready...:-)

I'm rather "torn between two lovers" at the mo', but that IS a beautiful line!

That's a good zinger, true enough. but we need someone who's gonna do more than just insult the Bushs.

I was for Edwards, I'm now for Obama. But if Hillary is the nominee, I'll support her wholeheartedly. I just hope its Obama.

Was a VERY good line though. :)

HUGS....

I thought Hillary scored big on that camment also. But I noticed no questions or mention of civil rights, legal marriage, unions for gays from either candidate. Very disappointing.

I was an Edwards supporter, but since he's gone, I've decided to back Hillary. I put all the reasons on my blog if you're interested, but I feel good about my decision.

aaron - A mop, bucket, scouring pad, DustBuster, wire gauze, box cutter and anything else she can get her hands on. What a job the next President has awaiting them.

cb - I was torn, but I'm swaying Hillary's way.

raven - Amen! She does!!

polt - Oh, I think she'll do more than insult Bush when she's in office. I think Hillary can knock 'em cold.

sayreguy - Very disappointing, I agree. And isn't it horrible that I no longer expect them to be asked those questions. We have received so little that it makes me expect even less.

chris - Yep!! 'Atta girl, Hillary!!

scott-o-rama - I checked out your blog. Great reasons to support Hillary! Thanks for the comment and for your wonderful break-down.

OMG! That's rich! How could anyone want that job?

Thanks for the mention, Steven!

Obama's idea about the war makes no sense. No one in his right mind could even think of getting those troops out of trouble in 9 months. It aint gonna happen.

I called this when Hillary took back her philandering husband and didn't divorce him. I knew from that moment she'd be wanting to run for President. And now, I have no doubt, she'll not only win the nomination, but make history as the first woman to become the CEO of the Untied States.

Obama's a great speech maker, but his policies needs work. He'll be a wonderful President......someday.

That WAS a great line!

I'll vote for Hillary, but even if Barack wins I think we'll be in good shape.

No, no! Go for Obama! I am an Obama Mama all the way! Hillary is very capable and brainy, but she is so devisive. It is time for someone to get beyond the party politics and take it to another level!

It was a great line, though!

Agreed, Alex. Obama just doesn't have the experience or the contacts, at least not yet. And not for a country in as much of a wreck as Dubbya has left ours.

Hillary all the way!
