Bon Qui Qui

My brother introduced me to this yesterday, which means it's probably something everyone else in the country has been enjoying for months.

Jeff keeps me hooked up to pop cultural trends that include things other than Liza, Lorna and Little Joe.

This is Bon Qui Qui from MAD TV...

I'm pretty sure she waited on me at the Arby's the LYLE cast stopped at yesterday on our way back home from Arlington Heights.

And by the by, at this particular Arby's, when we walked in, they started playing "Summer Nights" from GREASE and later, they were playing "It's Raining Men" by The Weather Girls.

As if they saw us walking in and said...

"Put on the homo tracks! We got some gayrods comin' in!"

I loved it.

Oooh - Fang and I saw this on a MadTV repeat the other week and I was peeing my pants!

"Security!"

I loved it - and then I went on YouTube and searched for the word "chonga" or the term" chonga fight" - I now realize the proper name for those latina chicks who look like scary drag queens who'l just "cut you!"

Hilarious! Sadly, this isn't an exaggeration. Most of the people who work these jobs have decided that the customers are their enemies now, so they concentrate on being either "exotic and fabulous" or "nonchalant" and make a big show of shoving their "individuality" in our faces. (Unfortunately, they don't realize that non-conformity is the new conformity and that urban ghetto talk has really become rather homogenous. Word!)

My favorite Mad TV moment was the Star Jones drag parody...that and the exploding Oprah...:-)

I was going to say "Do you mean the Arby's on Golf Road?" -- since I'm well familiar with it since I used to work in that office complex -- and the folks there were equally "special."

But then I thought about it and realized that this might be a "universal Arby's" thing.

LOL - that was funny! I hadn't seen it either. Then again, I'm an old lady with two kids and a husband whose favorite movie is Xanadu and who knows every word to the soundtrack from Grease.

I think Bon Qui Qui waited on me at my local BK last week. Except she was about 11 months pregnant at the time.

Can I tell you how much I want to meet the little Thai lesbian with lips tattooed on her neck that Christopher mentioned?

Hi Stephen:

Found this parody clip on the douche (and your personal hero) that is the Aussie party-boi Corey Worthington....starring Jerry O'Connell. Thought you might enjoy it!
