Mama's Packin'

I just spoke to my mother.

Not only has she baked cookies which she is packing in her suitcase for us to eat tonight...

...she is also packing a Honey Baked Ham.

I wish I could say that's a joke. It's not.

Sweet? Yes.

Thoughtful? Absolutely.

Kind of strange to travel with a ham? You bet'cha.

Prepare ye the way. Wanda's coming.

Mmmmmmm ham.

Um, are you sure this isn't some sort of ingenius way for her to get through airport security faster? Not that she'd be confused for an Islamic terrorist anyway, but you'd definitely never see one carrying a pork bomb.

ingenious even

Mike - If this is an ingenious idea to help get through airport security much faster than usual, it's something my mother has just stumbled upon.

Remember, my people lost the war, but sometimes we find greatness accidentally... sort of like going out to the woods to hunt and coming back owning an oil well... black gold... Texas tea...

Or as my father says, "Even a blind hog finds an acorn every once in awhile."

LMAO! I wish I could see the looks on the bag checker's face when it goes through x-ray.

Whim - I keep thinking of that joke about the woman trying to steal the ham under her skirt and when she's going through the check out line, the ham falls out and she say, "Who threw that ham at me?!?!?!"

So no tuna?

Haunted Tuna - Unfortunately, no tuna from mama. I'm sure I've gained at least 48 pounds from everything ELSE I've eaten since she arrived here, but no tuna.

Not yet, anyway...
