Cap's Statement from the Grave

I've given the guys at Graham Cracker Comics a some Hell on this blog recently...

...actually, most of the guys in there are ok - - it's just one guy who I think is running for the Office of President Douchebag of DickWadd Lane...

...but yesterday, as I walked up to the store to go in and by my weekly Wednesday stash, I noticed that they had added a word bubble beside the Captain America that graces their front window.

Those of you who know me know that I have a very loud, guttural attack of a laugh that comic book fans might think is similar to Black Canary's
"Canary Cry"...

...well, I let out my Canary Cry and people were staring.

But this was just too funny to not celebrate with a good laugh.

Poor Captain America, may he rest in peace.

Any chance that he might get resurrected somehow? It has happened with other comic book characters.

Whim - Oh of course, he we "come back" in some way, shape or form.

What's really funny is what is happening to The Punisher in Marvel Comics right now. His reaction to Cap's death is to change his costume to look more like Cap's and the Marvel fan boys are up-in-arms (pardon the miliary pun).

The whole Marvel Universe is really going in the toilet, as far as I'm concerned. It's about time DC got the upper hand on being the better written, more interesting and better quality comic world for a change.

Marvel seems to be spiraling out of control under Joe Quesada's watch. The decision to not have secret identities has to be the worst damn move I've ever seen.

Well, second.

First place goes to the stupid f***ing idea to have Gwen Stacy sleep with Norman Osborne.

Dirk - Well, CIVIL WAR did it for me. Those last few pages of issue 7 made me go, "What the fuck?!? That was it?!?!? You took most of the year and 7 issues to come to THAT?!?!"

I'm a DC boy, though. I know that's not cool, but hey, that's me. :)
