"If You're Crackin' Up From Havin' Lack of Shackin' Up..."

After watching The Divine Miss M on the season premiere of Kathy Griffin's My Life on the D-List last night, I've been in a Midler mood.

I started rambling through clips and Sophe jokes on YouTube and came across this quote from Bette's Kiss My Brass show at Radio City Music Hall...

"It's a gay marriage frenzy!
I knew something had to replace disco,
but I never dreamed..."

Amen, girl. Amen!

I LOVED Bette on The D-List. She was so generous with her time. I love her anyway, and that just made me love her more. I've seen her the last 3 times she's toured in Minneapolis. Incredible shows. Now I really want to see the Vegas show!! Road trip anyone?

I know! I have always loved her, but she endeared herself even more by looking so great, being so funny & being willing to go along with what Kathy was doing. She came across as classy, but not TOO CLASSY.

Her Vegas show is awesome. Putting Midler and Griffin together is like coke and mentos. Drop, plop and whoosh!
