"A Natural Part of the End of Days"

Last night, Saturday Night Live did it again.  This time, Tina Fey's Sarah Palin was joined by Jason Sudeikis as Joe Biden and Queen Latifah as Gwen Ifill from this past Thursdays Vice Presidential debate.  Everything is covered in this sketch.  Everything...

I especially like how they deal with the issue of Gay Marriage. I understand that Obama and Biden can't come out as pro-Gay Marriage in this election, but it certainly sounds stupid when you say that you believe gay couples should be afforded all of the legal rights that straight couples have and then say that you are against Gay Marriage.

It's all semantics. If our struggle was for Civil Unions instead of Gay Marriage, we probably would have achieved our goal by now. Marriage equates religion and even though we ignore most of Leviticus, that whole "man shall not lie with man" thing always sticks.

Maybe I should go see Religulous and laugh to keep from crying.

"There is a special place in Heaven for Israel."

That's.
Genius!

I'm calling it now. .. Tina Fey will receive at least 2% of the write-in vote. . . as she should.

Saw Religulous today...it's definitely worth seeing. There's some scary "beliefs" out there!

I totally agree on the "marriage" thing. It's that damn word that's the hangup.

Unfortunately it would be political suicide for any candidate to say they support same sex marriage. Your right, "Civil Unions" is the way to go. Keep religion out of it!

Hey, you. I think EVERYTHING should be a civil union - for breeders too. Then if they want to do this silly religious thing, that's up to them - and they can call THAT a marriage. Hurrumph. Love from one of your favorite breeders, Ruth Bonnet
