The death of my favorite Angel, Farrah Fawcett, was sad and upsetting to me.
I was even more upset that Michael Jackson's death overshadowed Farrah's.
You know, as I watched the Pride Parade this past Sunday, a question popped into my mind...
If Judy Garland's death forty years ago sparked the Gay Civil Rights Movement, then what will Michael Jackson's death spark?
Forty years from now, will there be a Pedophile Parade?
And don't EVEN tell me that nothing was proven in court, because my response will be simple. Two letters long, actually. "O.J."
But, I digress...
Yesterday, I was saddened to learn that Karl Malden had died, but today's news really stopped me.
Mollie Sugden is dead. She was 86 years old.
If that name doesn't ring a bell, how about Mrs. Slocombe? And if Mrs. Slocombe doesn't ring a bell, allow me to introduce you to your new favorite comedy, Are You Being Served?
Can everyone just stop dying, please?
Especially Angels, great actors and women who make me laugh incredibly hard. Please?

Of all the recent celebrity deaths, this one has hit me the hardest -- and this is coming from a man with a Charlie's Angels flask.
I've often been tempted to use this Mrs. Slocumbe line during sex, but I always take things too seriously:
"Captain Peacock, I do not respond to any man's finger."
I felt SO sorry for Farrah's family when MJ died. I, for one, don't get all the adoration (not to mention TV and radio specials 24/7) for him. Maybe it's because when someone mentions his name, I don't think "King of Pop," but "PERV!" As a local dj said this week, why remember someone who was a perverted, socially retarded, drug-addicted pedophile? But, for me, Ed McMahon's and Farrah's deaths were quite upsetting. Rest in peace to two special angels!
Oops...hit return too soon.
I was very sad to see "Are You Being Served?" not showing up for any TiVo searches. But I did watch an entire episode on YouTube last night, and there seemed to be a few out there. God bless the Internet age.
I LOVED her in that series. She was wonderful. How sad she's gone.
This woman made me laugh HARD! Even LITTLE BRITAIN had a character that was obsessed with Mollie. Mollie even made an appearance, with "disasterous" results.
