A gay actor / director / fundraiser / cabaret singer / lesbian-esque guitar player from the hills of East Tennessee, living in Chicago and looking for... wait... what is it I'm looking for again?

um if someone didnt know what that was, they have NO right to read your fine blog
This movie has molded me into the person I am today. Could anyone play this role as effectively today? Maybe only Judy Davis, I think. Too bad Faye's such a crazy wench to never discuss it.
I've never seen this one. Shame on me. I have much to learn from the gaydom.
Our singer Jennifer Joans (Connelly) modeled her look after the outfit in this and the Pepsi boardroom scene. I have a big ol' costume brooch I'm going to give her for the lapel.
I love this movie! I know it is over the top, campy and tragic beyond measure but it is also BRILLIANT! and she is as well!
My favorite scenes.....that and where Joan chokes Tina on the floor. That made me so, well, um...happy. I hated the actress who played adult Tina.
Oh I DO love this movie too!
Ok so the REAL scary part is that to this day I walk around quoting this flick...AT WORK! I was in a tough meeting the other day and found myself pounding my fist on the conference table using the "this ain't my first time at the rodeo" line. of course for professional reasons I omitted the "don't f- with me part"
My favorite lines are:
"Christina!!!! Get me the ax!"
and
"Put the window where the window belongs!!!!"
Mark :-)
