Super Tuesday

Well, today's the day. For the last few months, I've posted pictures of real people dressed - - or sometimes half-dressed - - in superhero costumes under the heading, Super Tuesday.

Very few human beings have the ability to accomplish super-heroics, both in comic books and in the real world.

And as I see it, Barack Obama is the closest thing to a superhero we've seen in a long, long time.

Here's hoping he triumphs today.

Because something tells me that if McCain wins, it will be just like Lex Luthor's tenure as President of the United States in the DC Universe. Not that McCain is evil, just that both he and Luthor are way-too-envious of the much loved man with superior abilities that can change things for the better.

Other than that, they are very different. Except McCain is four years older than Luthor (No joke - - Luthor was first appeared in Action Comics #23 in 1940 and McCain... well, you do the math...). And Luthor can still move his arms above his head. Just sayin'...

P.S. I've decided to go to the rally. At least for a few hours. This is an historic event.

Until it gets too late or my feet get tired from standing in the park, and then I'm out.

Geez... now I sound like Luthor! Oy...
