It's interesting, after yesterday's election of Barack Obama, that today is Guy Fawkes Day, which I first became aware of when I read V for Vendetta.Some quotes from the film version of that graphic novel resonate with me today...

There is nothing more odd than seeing a bunch of little British children pushing decorated strollers around the streets of London, collecting candy in celebration of man who was hanged for almost blowing up the Parliament!
