Last night, Karen took me to see Hamlet 2 and she inadvertently introduced me to my new hero.
And my new drag name.
Meet Cricket Feldstein, as played by Amy Poehler.
Or as they used to say in those Warner Bros. movie trailers...
As I watched this scene, I guess I let out my horse laugh one too many times, because the couple behind me got up and left the theatre.
They hadn't laughed at anything in the movie. Probably because they bought a ticket to Hamlet 2 to find out what happened in Denmark after Fortinbras walked into that corpse-filled castle. Oy...

It's weird to hear Steve Coogan without his "Alan Partridge" accent. But I heart Amy Poehler SO hard--she can take even a shitty movie (like "Mr. Woodcock"--boy what a pile of dreck--and what a misleading title!) and make it better just by being in it.
"Piles of shit flying left and right--mostly left"--I love it.
LOL. I love Amy Poehler. She is a treasure! That clip made me LOL, too. "Are yo on my side?" "YES". lol.
The trailer for this film looks like it will be right up my alley! Thanks for the recommendation.
Mark :-)
i think my favourite amy poehler line is
"i'm married to a jew. i've got nothing to lose"
hahaha
told ya u'd love it
Amy Poehler rocks!
I'll have to check this film out.
I DIED. DIED!! when she said "It's irrelevant." I missed the next five minutes of the movie because I was laughing so hard.
I did love her and the fact that her name was Cricket. I absolutely HATE that name (which makes me love it).
I wish the movie was just a fraction better and more cohesive.
