If asked about him before today, I probably would have said something like...
"He used to play that sport where you bounce the big, round balls, right?
"Or did he throw those leather, egg-shaped balls?
"Which sport is it where you have a big sing-a-long somewhere after intermission?
"That one's fun. Long, but fun."

I didn't really have an opinion about Charles Barkley one way or another. Until now.
Check out this clip from Mr. Barkley's interview on CNN...
I would almost move to Alabama if Mr. Barkely were governor. Almost.
My blood runs so Orange that those Bulldogs probably wouldn't allow me to cross the state line.

OK, this guy just became my new hero--he said EXACTLY what I was thinking. All this fear, all this tippy-toeing around, trying not to offend a bunch of numbnuts who are holding court in their domination of the moment.
Well, their moment is over. Let's tell them to take their hemorrhoid donut pillows and move to the back benches where they belong. It's someone else's turn.
wow, pretty cool. This election sure is getting interesting!!!
I've always known that Mr. Barkley was outspoken. But this is wonderful. He's also said that when he runs for office, he won't have Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson help him. "I don't believe in them. They always play the race card, and you can't always play the race card. . . . "
I love you, Sir Charles.
Kudos to Mr. Barkley!!! :)
Its great when straight people can make sensible statements like this, not because they're pushing some agenda or anything, but just because they believe in it.
Unfortunately, when they try to enter politics they HAVE TO push and agenda, so they STOP saying things like this.
Mark :-)
