Well... I feel like the first two and a half minutes of this...
Yep, I feel like Elaine Stritch and right now, I SOUND like Elaine Stritch. And in that clip, SHE thinks she sounds like Lionel Stander.
If you see me walking out of rehearsal tonight wearing a white shirt, black tights and little sailor's hat, you'll know that my fever is back. Or the vodka has kicked in. Or both.

queer heaven - The entire documentary is wonderful. I love when Phyllis Newman jokingly says that everyone was wonderful EXCEPT for Elaine. Because Elaine responds to Phyllis little joke by saying that she has never liked Phyllis.
Elaine is joking, but there's just a little too much bite in the way she says it. I've always thought it was Elaine's way of telling Phyllis A) "I don't like you," B)
"I've NEVER liked you," and C) "Don't fuck with me!"
